VocabLens Privacy Policy Last updated: October 13, 2026 1. Introduction VocabLens is a browser extension developed under the UltimateWork brand, operated by UDOMSUK WORLD CO., LTD. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). It helps users learn vocabulary through translations, definitions, contextual explanations, and relevant images. We respect user privacy and are committed to protecting personal data. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may process, why we process it, how information may be shared, and the rights available to users under applicable data protection laws, including Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA). 2. Information We May Collect Depending on the features used, VocabLens may process the following information: - Words or text selected by users for vocabulary lookup, including contextual text necessary to interpret the selected content. - Account information, such as email addresses, account identifiers, and authentication information provided by authentication services. - Subscription plans, usage entitlements, lookup counts, and payment status information. - Technical information necessary for service delivery, troubleshooting, security, and abuse prevention, including request information and system logs. - User preferences, including language settings and extension activation status. VocabLens does not require users to submit sensitive personal information for ordinary vocabulary lookups. Users should avoid selecting passwords, financial details, health information, or other people's personal information. 3. How We Use Information We may process information to: - Provide vocabulary definitions, translations, contextual explanations, and relevant images. - Interpret selected text and improve the relevance of responses. - Manage accounts, authentication, subscriptions, and usage entitlements. - Process and verify payment status. - Detect misuse, fraud, and unauthorized access. - Troubleshoot issues and maintain service reliability and performance. - Comply with applicable legal obligations. Where required, we rely on an appropriate legal basis for processing, such as contractual necessity, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent. 4. Selected Text and AI Processing When a user selects a word or text and requests a lookup, VocabLens may transmit the selected content and necessary context to its backend services and third-party AI providers to generate definitions, translations, or related results. The service is designed to process information necessary to fulfill user-initiated requests rather than automatically collect the complete content of every webpage a user visits. Lookup content may be stored in a cache to improve response times and reduce repeated processing. Retention periods and third-party processing conditions depend on the actual service configuration and applicable provider agreements. 5. Images and External Services VocabLens may use external image providers or sources, including Pexels and Wikimedia, to display images relevant to vocabulary terms. Information necessary to retrieve or display images may be shared with those providers depending on how the integration operates. Their own privacy policies may also apply. 6. Authentication and Payments VocabLens may use infrastructure and authentication providers, including Supabase, to manage user accounts and subscription information. Where paid plans are available, Stripe may be used to process payments. Payment information is handled in accordance with the payment provider's applicable terms and privacy practices. We do not need to receive complete payment card details to manage subscription status. Actual data handling depends on the payment integration deployed. 7. Data Storage and Security We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Information may be stored or processed using cloud infrastructure and third-party service providers, including in locations outside Thailand, subject to applicable legal requirements. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, and security purposes. Information will be deleted or de-identified as appropriate when it is no longer required. 8. Data Sharing We do not sell users' personal information to advertisers. We may share information as necessary with service providers supporting VocabLens, including AI providers, database and hosting providers, image providers, and payment processors. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or lawful requests from competent authorities. 9. Your Privacy Rights Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, users may have rights to access, obtain copies of, correct, delete, restrict, or request the portability of their personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Users may contact us to exercise applicable rights and may lodge complaints with the relevant data protection authority where permitted by law. 10. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, third-party integrations, or legal requirements.
